USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Associate to join our team. This position will be located in our Plainville, MA location.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new customers to support long-term market expansion and business growth.
  • Expand existing customer relationships by evaluating needs and recommending additional products, solutions, and growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with customers, contractors, and internal teams to design solutions, resolve complex issues, and align with business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer potential, and competitive activity to support strategic business planning and decision-making.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, forecasting, and operational analysis to improve efficiency and market readiness.
  • Assess financial conditions, credit risk, project viability, and overall business impact related to customer accounts.
  • Develop and present financial risk strategies and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations on sales performance, customer trends, financial risks, and market opportunities.
  • Represent the company professionally in customer meetings, industry events, and high-level business discussions.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a closely related field, plus three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least one year of experience in electrical distribution sales, strongly preferred.
  • Strong strategic and consultative sales mindset with a focus on long-term customer value.

  • Financial and analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and translate data into actionable recommendations.
