Their work allows account executives and senior sales staff to focus on closing deals with well-qualified leads. The position often serves as an entry point to a career in sales or business development.

At Ideal Group, we’re not just building deep foundation systems—we’re building a culture where drive, teamwork, and people skills matter as much as technical expertise. We’re expanding fast and looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us grow.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

As a BDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for new opportunities—making outbound calls, setting up meetings, and generating qualified leads that fuel our sales pipeline. The first year is mostly office-based, giving you time to learn our industry and our clients. Starting in year two, you’ll spend about 20% of your time traveling to meet prospects and build relationships face-to-face.

What You’ll Do
  • Make outbound calls to identify opportunities

  • Book meetings with decision-makers

  • Generate and qualify Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)

  • Collaborate with sales & marketing to refine outreach strategies

  • Track activities and results in CRM for accountability

We want someone who is:
  • Driven & Ambitious – motivated to meet goals, proactive, and eager to win.

  • Grounded & Team-Oriented – respectful, coachable, and puts team success first.

  • Relationship-Savvy – an excellent communicator who builds trust and connects easily with others.
