Hero Care is a rapidly growing healthcare technology company that specializes in providing SaaS healthcare staffing solutions to connect healthcare professionals and institutions. We have an exceptional track record in offering our contract and travel nurses a range of exciting and positive working experiences with our clients. We are expanding our staffing services to offer quality healthcare services to hospitals and long-term care facilities in Ontario and are currently seeking a full-time Business Development Representative to support our growth.

Business Development Representative Job Description

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating new leads and business opportunities for the company. The BDR will work closely with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers, and will then develop and execute a sales plan to close the deal.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, and will be highly motivated and driven. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop creative strategies to target decision-makers and overcome objections in order to book sales appointments and grow our revenue
  • Identify and qualify leads/sales opportunities from marketing campaigns
  • Drive sales growth and pipeline hand in hand with Account Executives
  • Research prospects and identify stakeholders in order to generate interest and create rapport
  • Follow a prescribed sales outreach cadence for maximum effectiveness
  • Achieve established activity targets for number of outbound calls / hours spent conducting calls to meet or exceed sales lead quotas

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in sales or a related field
  • Experience in a quota carrying position (SDR, BDR)
  • Experience with outreach such as cold calling and emailing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Well organized and manage your time wisely
  • Experience in using marketing automation software (not obligatory, but preferred)
  • Highly-motivated to learn, develop your sales skills and join a fast-growing company!
