Job description

Trifecta is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Coordinator to join our growing Industrial Business Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, tech-savvy professional who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic corporate environment. The successful candidate will work closely with and under the mentorship of the Industrial Business Development Director, supporting key initiatives to identify, develop, and manage client relationships across the industrial sector.

The ideal candidate brings strong computer proficiency, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive mindset. A willingness to learn industry-specific platforms and business development processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development Support
  • Assist the Industrial BD Director in identifying and researching new project opportunities and prospective clients
  • Help lead the Company’s efforts to streamline, centralize, and improve upon pipeline management, with a focus on identifying and capturing leads and opportunities from private and public sources.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and pursuit materials for industrial projects; Coordinate with Marketing Team
  • Help maintain and expand existing client relationships through proactive follow-up and communication
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and industry events as directed
  • Must be willing to travel for trade shows, conferences, and other industry events as needed.

CRM & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain and update the company CRM platform (e.g., Monday.com) with current prospect data, contact notes, and opportunity status
  • Track and report on pursuit pipeline activity, win/loss data, and BD metrics
  • Ensure data integrity and timely entry of all business development activity
  • Project Preconstruction & Bidding Support
  • Monitor BuildingConnected and similar platforms for active bid opportunities and RFP postings
  • Assist in managing subcontractor and vendor prequalification processes through BuildingConnected
  • Coordinate bid invitations, track responses, and maintain organized bid files

Administrative & Organizational Support

  • Prepare polished reports, presentations, and correspondence using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Organize and maintain BD files, contact databases, and project documentation
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, calls, and follow-up activities for the BD Director
  • Assist with market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend tracking
