Your Purpose

Partner with the Business Development Manager in the creation, implementation, ongoing ownership and continuous improvement of new Business Development processes, systems, and tools to optimize the department and drive long-term success while ensuring that OE Federal remains within regulatory compliance. Serve as the primary organizational point of contact for union operational needs to ensure we have a consistent approach to union business. These activities will be carried out in a way that helps the credit union achieve its targeted business objectives.

What You'll Do

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily under indirect supervision:

  • Standardize, own, and continually optimize team methodology for onboarding new unions in concert with the broader organization, KPI metrics scorecard for all our union relationships, inventory control processes, and where/how union relationship information is captured and stored.
  • Serve as the Business Development operational liaison for new (or existing) products and solutions that may be rolled out to union partners in the future. Provide union-based feedback and make recommendations to cross-functional owners of these products and tools.
  • Manage and evolve our OE Federal contract strategy with unions to optimize impact for OE Federal – including critical aspects such as vacation pay timing, escheatment approach, fee structure, etc. Create a strategic plan to update existing contracts without impacting relationships.
  • Travel to and attend in-person functions, such as meetings, picnics and sport tournaments to promote the credit union and support the interests of our membership.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues from across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members. Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union’s products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, Credit Union banking regulations, and OE Federal Credit Union’s policies and procedures and current promotions.
  • Keep current with the union construction trade industry and potential credit union field of membership growth opportunities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Will Possess
  • Associates degree in an applicable field AND minimum 4 years of work experience in a similar role OR High School Diploma/GED AND minimum 6 years of work experience in a Lead-level role.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation, public speaking and networking skills.
  • Proficiency with PC, Microsoft windows software, Excel, Power Point, Word.
  • Valid state issued driver’s license.
  • Proficiency with JHA Symitar required.

Salary Range: $83,571 - $100,836/annually

OE Federal Credit Union offers competitive compensation. The offered salary considers experience, education, training, internal peer equity, job location and other business considerations when extending an offer. The salary outlined is based on working in Livermore, California.The salary range will adjust to the applicant's work location. In addition to competitive salaries:
