Disaster Specialists is looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to expand our presence throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod.

This is not a desk job.

You'll spend your time in the field meeting decision-makers, developing referral partnerships, networking, and building long-term business relationships that drive growth.

What You'll Do

You'll be responsible for developing and growing a sales territory through relationship-based business development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships with property managers, facility managers, insurance professionals, contractors, plumbers, HVAC companies, and business owners
  • Prospecting and developing new referral partnerships
  • Conducting face-to-face meetings throughout the territory
  • Attending networking events, chamber meetings, and industry functions
  • Following up consistently and maintaining activity within CRM
  • Working closely with company leadership to convert opportunities into long-term business relationships

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in prospecting and building new business opportunities.
  • Holds a valid driver's license and is able to drive daily for self-set appointments within the assigned territory.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales or business development experience, ideally in outside sales, territory sales, account management, or business development.
  • Experience with structured, referral-based business development and building referral partnerships with insurance professionals and contractors.
  • Experience selling to property managers and facility managers, with additional experience calling on plumbers and HVAC companies a plus.
  • Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and mobile sales apps.
