Help Seniors Live Safely at Home While Building Meaningful Community Partnerships
HomeWell Care Services is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and relationship-driven Business Development Manager - Community Relations to expand our presence throughout South Bay San Diego and help more families access high-quality in-home care.
This is more than a sales position-it is an opportunity to become a trusted resource within the healthcare community by developing long-term relationships with hospitals, physicians, rehabilitation facilities, senior living communities, hospice agencies, home health providers, and other professionals who serve older adults.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, memory care communities, home health agencies, hospice providers, physicians, elder law attorneys, senior centers, and community organizations.
  • Represent HomeWell Care Services at networking events, health fairs, and community outreach programs.
  • Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with referral partners throughout South Bay San Diego.
  • Organize and present educational lunch-and-learns and community presentations.
  • Identify opportunities to establish new strategic partnerships.
  • Maintain regular follow-up with referral sources to strengthen relationships and encourage ongoing referrals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Intake Coordinator, Scheduler, Recruiter, and leadership team to ensure an exceptional client experience.
  • Track activities, referrals, and outcomes using the company's CRM.
  • Meet monthly business development goals while maintaining HomeWell's commitment to compassionate, ethical service.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, healthcare marketing, community relations, or consultative sales.
  • Experience in home care, home health, hospice, senior living, rehabilitation, healthcare, or medical sales is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required.
