If you’re looking for a workplace where your contributions are valued, your ideas are welcomed, and your growth is supported, you’ll feel right at home with us.

Position Summary

This position supports Eastroc USA's Sales and Commercial team and is being recruited through Pittston Co-Packers (PCP). While PCP primarily focuses on manufacturing operations, Eastroc USA is responsible for the commercial development and growth of the Eastroc brand in the U.S. market.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and accelerating new customers, channels, and revenue opportunities for Eastroc USA. The role will have a particular focus on specialty, Asian, international, and multicultural markets, while also exploring growth opportunities across wellness, fitness, foodservice, hospitality, travel, entertainment, education, workplace, specialty retail, e-commerce, and other emerging channels.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and commercially driven business developer who can take opportunities from initial prospecting through qualification, customer engagement, negotiation, launch, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective customers, distributors, channel partners, and strategic business opportunities.
  • Develop and expand business within Asian, international, multicultural, and specialty markets, with a focus on increasing distribution, product assortment, and repeat business.
  • Identify new growth opportunities across nontraditional channels, including wellness, fitness, sports, hospitality, foodservice, travel, entertainment, education, workplace, specialty retail, and e-commerce.
  • Lead the business development process from prospecting and initial outreach through customer presentations, sampling, proposals, negotiations, follow-up, and conversion.
  • Evaluate new opportunities based on revenue potential, margin, scalability, strategic fit, operational feasibility, and required investment.
  • Coordinate new account and channel launches with internal teams to ensure alignment on pricing, product availability, customer setup, logistics, marketing support, and launch timelines.
  • Develop strategies to turn pilots, events, local placements, and initial orders into repeatable and sustainable business.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline information, including opportunity status, expected volume, launch timing, risks, and next steps.
  • Provide regular business development updates, insights, and recommendations to sales leadership.
  • Monitor market and customer trends and recommend opportunities related to channels, products, packaging, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Partner with key account, distribution, and field sales teams as new accounts grow and transition into established business.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, channel development, or a related commercial role.
  • Experience in CPG, beverage, food, wellness, retail, distribution, hospitality, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, prospect, qualify, develop, and convert new business opportunities.
  • Experience working with specialty, multicultural, Asian, international, or emerging-market customers is highly valued.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong commercial judgment with the ability to evaluate business opportunities and prioritize those with the greatest growth potential.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously while maintaining strong follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where new channels and processes are continuously being developed.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual capabilities and/or experience working across multicultural markets are a plus.

Travel

  • Approximately 30%–40% travel may be required for customer meetings, market visits, industry events, account development, and other business needs.
