Location: Greater Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid – Carmel HQ + Regional Travel)

Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000 Base + Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonus

Job Summary

MS Companies is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to help expand our presence across the Greater Indianapolis region and surrounding markets.

Headquartered in Carmel, Indiana, MS Companies is a leading provider of workforce and quality solutions supporting Fortune 1000 clients across automotive, manufacturing, logistics, aerospace, and IT industries.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth, developing strategic client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building long-term partnerships with manufacturing and industrial clients.

This is a hybrid role with time spent in the corporate office and in the field meeting with prospective and existing clients throughout the region.


Required Skills & Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)

● Minimum 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience

● Proven experience managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal development, and closing

● Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

● Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong sales pipeline

● Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms

● Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

● Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company revenue goals

● Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with new and existing clients

● Manage the full sales cycle, including opportunity identification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing

● Maintain a strong pipeline and accurate sales forecasting within Salesforce CRM

● Conduct client meetings, presentations, and on-site facility visits

● Collaborate with recruiting, operations, and finance teams to ensure successful client delivery

● Represent MS Companies at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows

● Track sales activity, manage accounts, and provide updates on opportunities and pipeline performance
