The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing Evolutionary Healthcare's presence throughout Florida by developing relationships with Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), Long-Term Care Facilities, Rehabilitation Centers, and other post-acute care settings. While the primary focus is Florida, occasional support of business development and facility relationships in other states may be required.
This role serves as the primary liaison between Evolutionary Healthcare and facility leadership, securing new facility partnerships, promoting clinical services, coordinating provider placement, and maintaining long-term relationships with facility stakeholders. The Business Development Manager is responsible for both generating new business opportunities and growing existing partnerships to ensure provider success, facility satisfaction, and continued expansion.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Administrators, Directors of Nursing (DONs), Executive Directors, Admissions Directors, and other facility decision-makers.
  • Identify and secure new facility partnerships throughout Florida.
  • Conduct facility visits, presentations, service demonstrations, and introductory meetings with prospective facilities.
  • Coordinate provider introductions, meet-and-greets, onboarding activities, and first-day facility visits.
  • Accompany physicians and advanced practice providers during initial facility introductions and key relationship-building meetings as needed.
  • Promote Evolutionary Healthcare's physician, advanced practice provider, specialty, and ancillary service offerings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility partners before, during, and after provider placement.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with facility leadership to ensure satisfaction and strengthen partnerships.
  • Monitor consult volume, referral activity, provider utilization, census trends, and growth opportunities within partnered facilities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and provider coverage within existing facility relationships.
  • Collaborate with operations, clinical leadership, providers, and executive leadership to support successful provider integration and account growth.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, trade shows, and industry functions.
  • Maintain accurate records of business development activity, facility contacts, partnership opportunities, and account performance.
  • Provide regular updates and reports regarding pipeline activity, facility partnerships, provider placements, and growth initiatives.
  • Other related duties as assigned
Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in healthcare business development, physician relations, healthcare marketing, post-acute care, long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, hospice, home health, or a related healthcare field.
  • Experience working directly with healthcare facility leadership and decision-makers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Established relationships within the Florida post-acute care market.
  • Knowledge of SNF, ALF, long-term care, and rehabilitation facility operations.
  • Familiarity with provider placement, physician services, or healthcare partnership development.
Travel Requirements
  • Frequent travel throughout the State of Florida.
  • Occasional overnight travel.
  • Occasional out-of-state travel as business needs require.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Flexible work from home options available.
