Job description

New Tech Global is currently seeking a Business Development Manager in Richmond, CA for an oil and gas client.
The Business Development Managers - Geothermal Power are accountable for developing the regional marketing strategy, building the opportunity pipeline, and delivering revenue growth for the geothermal business line related to geothermal power generation. They are responsible for the regional market assessment and pricing for the introduction of the product or service as part of the product development process and field deployment. The Business Development Managers own and lead the pursuit of portfolio related opportunities from early engagement to tender or proposal submission with focus on closure and develops/enforces agreed business models with other business lines, as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Participate in the creation and implementation of the marketing/sales plan for all aspects of the geothermal business line portfolio.
Provide support to the sales, commercial and marketing teams within the domains of the assigned business.
Identify new business opportunities - new markets, new partnerships, new ways to reach existing markets.
Promote portfolio value proposition and business offerings internally and externally.
Participate in the opportunity management process for critical opportunities.
Lead the development of proposal strategies/content/commercial models, both base and alternative cases.
Coordinate the technical, operational, commercial, and legal risk mitigation/support/reviews for all proposals.
Lead proposal/tender management reviews to obtain alignment and approval before proposal submission.
Participate in customer proposal/contract negotiations, as needed.
Ensure proper handover of associated contracts to the delivery teams.
Develop and maintain good customer relationships in the assigned geography.
Attends conferences, meetings, and industry events to gain insight on industry trends and developments.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, engineering, or earth science.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in the geothermal power generation space.
Proven experience of successful sales strategy and execution related to geothermal energy.
Deep understanding of the geothermal power generation process and equipment.
Deep understanding of the geothermal power generation market, key players, and ongoing opportunities.
Previous experience managing tenders and understanding the contractual language and risk related to geothermal power generation projects.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
