Total Facility Solutions/Exentec Installation Services is currently seeking a Construction Business Development Manager. This position is responsible for supporting annual order and revenue generation of pharmaceutical facility construction projects, and working with the Business Development Director to meet these objectives. This position can be located anywhere in the Western United States.

  • Adopts and promotes the Total Facility Solutions, Inc. (TFS) commitment to always provide a safe workplace that strives for an Incident and Injury Free environment where everyone goes home safe every day
  • Upholds the core values in dealing with potential customers, new and existing customers, and fellow employees
    Supports annual strategic business development plans based upon market intelligence, knowledge of customer's needs, and alignment with TFS goals
  • Manages day to day activities in the organization's business development and corporate planning functions
    Embraces the selling systems set forth by the Business Development Director and accepts change and coaching with a positive attitude
  • Supports and assists the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators by using knowledge of the market and competitors
  • Prospects for qualified new clients and turns this into increased business
  • Assists in the development of strategies for identifying and responding to business development opportunities, which may include internal expansion into new markets or external expansion via partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures
  • Researches and builds relationships with new clients
  • Gathers and analyzes data evaluating new business opportunities or assessing potential markets, to assist ELT in decision making and planning
  • Sets up meetings with client decision makers
  • Assists with preparation of risk review process (PIRA/TERA) for opportunities, as required
  • Works with Business Development Director to ensure CRM (Sales Force) is updated
  • Prepares proposals, reports, or presentations demonstrating the potential value of new business opportunities
  • Performs necessary follow up, along with overcoming objection strategies, to work towards a mutually beneficial negotiated agreement with the client
  • Collaborates with Business Development Director on monthly sales meetings, goal setting, win/loss report and territory roadmap
  • Assists Business Development Director in identifying conventions and industry trade shows that are important to attend and representing TFS as required
  • Collaborates with Exyte U.S., Inc. and Exyte Group Business Units as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Associates Degree in Business, Marketing or related field is required
  • 5+ years' of experience
  • Prior experience in Construction and/or Engineering Industry required
  • Prior sales experience is required
  • Business Development/Sales in the pharmaceutical facility construction industry is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
  • Results driven with proven sales track record
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
