Position Overview:

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact as a Business Development Intern? In this entry-level role, you’ll play a critical part in calling our raw list of marketing leads to verify we have correct contact information. We’re looking for someone who is highly motivated and willing to spend a large part of the day calling people on the phone and asking them to confirm information on a list that we already have. You'll be a member of our Sales and Marketing team and work with our Marketing Coordinator, Sales Development Rep, and Business Development Executive. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn what sales and marketing is all about!

Key Responsibilities

Contact Verification: Call companies to verify that we have the correct contact name, address, phone number, and other pertinent information.

Follow Activity Scorecard: Meticulously follow the scripts that we have developed to make at least 500 calls per week and clean at least 125 contacts per week.

Team Participation: Attend weekly Sales and Marketing meetings and one on one meetings to report your progress, provide input, report problems, and get help with any challenges you have. 

Tracking: Accurately track all activities (calls, contacts cleaned, etc.) and submit those reports by Friday, close of business, for that week..

Qualifications and Skills

Attitude: Have a positive phone presence as you will be representing CMIT Solutions to our prospective clients.

Self-Starter Mindset: You will need to be self-motivated to work autonomously and make phone calls for a large part of your day.

Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of your work.

Organization: Excellent note-taking and record keeping will be required to ensure we have accurate contact data stored in our systems.
