Job description

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented professional to join our team as a Business Development Executive II. This role requires spending 50% or more of your time in the field, engaging with customers and vendors. As a Business Development Executive II, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining customer relationships, with a strong focus on vendors.
What You'll Do
  • Must be able to travel up to 75%
  • Subject matter expert (SME) on assigned Vendor's brand, technology solutions, program offerings, etc. for their assigned customers.
  • Typically works on a cross-section of large and/or prominent accounts with several changing variables and complexity. The Vendor Field BDE II territory is large in financial nature as to the company impact / benefit (annual revenue, gross profit and/or complexity dynamics).
  • Creating reports and presentations and delivering group and management presentations at customer sites.
  • Executing against vendor initiatives and serving as a subject matter expert (SME) on assigned vendor's brand, technology solutions, and program offerings for our customers.
  • Proactively developing new ways of uncovering business opportunities and incorporating the vendor's full product line, as well as adjacent technologies, to create meaningful offerings.
  • Able to speak to the customer on TD SYNNEX's High-Growth value propositions, including Security, Cloud, Data, IoT, etc.
  • Identifying and creating opportunity demand for products, coordinating seminars, training, and resource awareness for assigned customers to drive growth.
  • Performing analysis and reporting results of various program impact for identified customers, communicating success, issues, and future growth plan strategies to the Account Manager and Vendor Management team.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, competitors, technology, and customers in the assigned supplier product market.
  • Expert knowledge of assigned Vendor's product / service line and understanding of TD SYNNEX's strategic sales pillars and associated value offerings so that they are sold into the territory.
  • Ensure cross-divisional teamwork in order to leverage TD SYNNEX's value in achieving the customer's business vision

  • 6-8 years of sales experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Thorough knowledge of solutions and assigned products.
  • Ability to deliver strategic vendor solutions and identify new partners.
  • Established relationships with key vendor contacts.
  • Proficient in communication, negotiation, and collaboration.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
  • Comfortable with technology and basic office tasks.
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally work non-standard hours.
  • Remote/work-from-home capability.
  • Expert knowledge of assigned product / service line and broad understanding of how they integrate with the organization's entire product / service line.
  • Typically works on a cross-section of large and/or prominent accounts with several changing variables and complexity.
  • Work is performed under very limited direction. Has considerable latitude in determining best approach to sales and service tasks.
  • Maintains excellent rapport with existing clients and frequently interacts directly with new prospects to build customer base and increase sales.
  • Provides input to sales management.
