Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$23.57 - $31.83 / hour

Summary

Responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors in support of Lee Health's philanthropic priorities. Manages a portfolio of approximately 175-200 qualified prospects and donors and develops, implements, and executes individualized engagement and solicitation strategies. Collaborates with senior hospital leadership, physicians, board members, volunteers, Foundation leadership, and professional advisors to secure major gifts of $5,000 or more.

Works closely with Foundation colleagues to build and sustain a robust major gift pipeline by identifying donors with increased capacity and philanthropic interest, implementing strategic moves management plans, and advancing qualified prospects toward significant philanthropic investments in Lee Health's mission and priorities. Operates in a performance-driven environment with defined activity, donor engagement, and revenue goals, including a minimum number of meaningful donor visits.

Partners across the Foundation to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors, including securing sponsorship support for special events. May serve as the primary development liaison for designated system initiatives, service lines, facilities, geographic regions, or other strategic priorities as assigned.

Requirements

Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, communications, marketing, public relations, healthcare administration, nonprofit management, or related field required.

Experience:A minimum of 3 years of fundraising, development, sales, business development, or relationship management Experience required.

Certification:CFRE preferred.
