Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Business Development Associate to support market development in the senior care space. This role is designed for an early-stage growth environment and combines business development, field outreach, channel building, and market feedback collection.
The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking with senior care providers, building relationships through phone and in-person outreach, identifying qualified opportunities, and reporting market feedback in a structured way. This is a hands-on role for someone who can operate independently, learn quickly, and help validate go-to-market opportunities in the DFW market.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain target lists across senior care and healthcare-adjacent channels, including:
    • Assisted Living
    • Memory Care
    • Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF)
    • Rehab providers
    • Home Care Agencies
    • Home Health Agencies
    • Durable Medical Equipment (DME) companies
    • Other senior-focused referral channels
  • Conduct outreach through:
    • Cold calls
    • Emails
    • Walk-in visits
    • Follow-up meetings
  • Introduce partner products and services to prospective channels and identify early-stage business opportunities
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs, current practices, and adoption barriers
  • Help identify pilot opportunities and support early business development efforts
  • Track and report key field feedback, including:
    • Response rate
    • Meeting rate
    • Effective messaging
    • Common objections
    • Potential referral opportunities
  • Maintain organized outreach records, contact lists, and pipeline updates
  • Work closely with the CEO on priority accounts, opportunity strategy, and follow-up actions
  • Support light market research and partnership development activities as needed
Qualifications
Required
  • Minimum of five years of sales experience working with healthcare institutions and senior care providers.
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, including phone calls and in-person visits
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust quickly
  • Organized, responsive, and able to manage follow-up consistently
  • Able to work independently in a field-based role
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Comfortable traveling locally within the DFW area
