We are looking for a motivated early-career professional to join our Regional Marketing ย teamย on an 18-month contract.ย This role is ideal for a recent graduate who has gained some hands-on experience through internships, co-op programs, or an initial full-time role, and is looking to grow their career in the AEC industry.ย  If you love digging into opportunities, creating polished content, and keeping things organized, this is your role.

You'll play a key part in supporting our regional operations and marketing teams by identifying business development opportunities, managing email communications, producing high-quality marketing materials and supporting proposal development. You'll work closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and marketing coordinators across the regional teams.ย 

This is an ideal role for someone who's looking for growth, takes initiative and is eager to learn. This role is your entry point into AEC marketing and proposal coordination, where you'll build the foundational skills that lead to Proposal Coordinator and beyond.ย 

What a day at EXP has in store for you

Business Development & Opportunity Research

  • Research tender sites daily (Merx, Bids & Tenders, Ariba) to identify new opportunities
  • Monitor and manage the BD Opportunities and One@EXP inboxes, addressing inquiries, downloading documents, and providing timely support
  • Issue bulletins, track addenda, and maintain opportunity status on SharePoint

Content Development & Document Management

  • Develop, organize, track, and maintain resumes, project sheets, and boilerplate content
  • Format documents using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (Adobe InDesign skills are a strong asset)
  • Manage revisions through version control and maintain brand compliance

Marketing Support

  • Provide updated resumes and project sheets to support active proposals
  • Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and branding compliance
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams to obtain and exchange information

Tech & Tools

  • Work daily in SharePoint, Deltek Vantagepoint and Microsoft Suite
  • Own your file management, keeping things clean, current, and easy to find

What your experience looks like

  • College diploma or university degreeย 

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Consulting) or professional services industryย 

  • Previous experience through internships, co-op placements, or full-time roles supporting marketing, business development, or proposal coordinationย 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiencesย 

  • Experience supporting proposals, reports, presentations, or marketing collateral is considered an assetย 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentย 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Experience using InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI tools (including Microsoft Copilot) to enhance your work is considered an asset
