Job Summary

The Business Development Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients while identifying opportunities to grow existing business and generate new revenue. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service, successful project execution, and long-term client satisfaction. The position works closely with internal teams to deliver customized logistics and supply chain solutions that support customer objectives while maximizing company profitability.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Understand customer business objectives and provide strategic logistics solutions.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Customer Support, and other internal departments to ensure successful service delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements that create value for both customers and the company.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion through upselling, cross-selling, and new business development.
  • Monitor account performance and prepare regular reports for customers and leadership.
  • Resolve customer concerns and manage escalations professionally.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while supporting profitable business growth.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience with 3PL supply chain services including cross-docking, inbound logistics, repack, kitting, manufacturing support, and last-mile delivery.
  • Understanding of national, regional, and state supply chain industry associations.
  • Proven ability to build strategic customer relationships and drive revenue growth.
