Would you like to be a part of a high performing, successful business development team? Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is looking for a Business Development Analyst to support business development and capture services in Orlando, Florida. This position is an on-site position.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
With a primary focus on growing and increasing company revenue, directly supporting Business Development Managers (BDMs) in the execution of growth strategies -- by performing the following responsibilities:
  • Utilize market research tools (Deltek GovWinIQ, SAM.gov, FPDS, Government forecasts, and other online resources) to help identify new opportunities (RFIs, Sources Soughts, RFPs), track existing opportunities, and conduct competitive landscape research in support of bid/no-bid decisions.
  • Assist in maintaining opportunity pipelines.
  • Perform initial opportunity qualifications.
  • Enter new opportunities and updates on existing opportunities in our CRM tool, ensuring up to date and accurate information in support of reporting and metrics.
  • Develop new reports and run existing reports in company CRM tool related to pipeline opportunities, bids, wins/losses, etc.
  • Monitor, track, and qualify task order RFPs released on GSA schedules and IDIQs.
  • Assist in the development of RFI and Sources Sought responses.
  • Generate and populate RFP/corporate capabilities matrices.
  • Assist BDMs in the development of capabilities briefings for both customers and/or partners.
  • Provide support and assistance in varying capacities, to CMs during the bid phase, with activities such as RFP instruction/evaluation criteria review, development of Q&A; contributions to proposal kickoff briefing slides; and development of proposal content such as graphics and metrics.
  • Assist with marketing communications to existing and new customers.
  • Manage customer and partner contact information.
  • Manage and organize information received from industry events and conferences such as customer forecasts, customer opportunity briefings, customer and partner networking contact information, etc.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor's Degree required
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience performing business development support as a part of a business development team/department for a DoD/Federal contractor. Strongly prefer experience with services vs. manufacturing.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent personal computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe
  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint or other document management system/version control system
  • Strong multitasking skills; ability to be flexible and agile in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong strategic analysis, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
  • Desire to achieve; self-motivated
  • Enjoys collaboration and teamwork

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with federal opportunity sourcing and business intelligence tools such as SAM.gov, FedConnect, FPDS, Deltek GovWinIQ, and others.
  • Experience with the proposal development process (Shipley method preferred)
  • Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
