About the role

The Business Developer will be responsible for generating new business and establishing relationships within targeted New Jersey communities to promote Unicity Care Management. This role involves working closely with local healthcare providers, senior living communities, and community organizations to identify referral opportunities, enhance brand visibility, and ensure seniors and their families are connected to the right level of support.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, social workers, senior living communities, and community organizations across assigned NJ counties.
  • Conduct presentations and educational seminars about Unicity Care Management's services for community groups, professionals, seniors, and their families.
  • Engage in structured networking activities (chamber events, professional associations, community meetings) to build referral partnerships and increase qualified inquiries from the community.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and tailor promotional materials that highlight Unicity Care Management's care management and concierge-style senior advisory services.
  • Gather feedback from community and healthcare professionals to enhance service offerings and improve client and referral partner satisfaction.
  • Participate in community events, health fairs, and professional conferences to represent Unicity Care Management and increase brand awareness in the New Jersey market.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities within NJ to recommend strategic improvements and identify new referral channels.
  • Document interactions with referral sources in the company's CRM, track relationship progress, and manage follow-up activities to ensure ongoing engagement.
  • Provide regular reports on business development activities, including referral volume, new referral sources, and outreach metrics, and set monthly goals tied to visits, meetings, and conversion of referrals to active clients.
  • Collaborate closely with care managers and senior advisors to ensure a smooth intake process for referred clients and maintain appropriate communication with referral partners.
