Job description

Purpose:

The Business Development Manager plays a key role in supporting the growth of our 3PL services by assisting with lead generation, client engagement, and proposal development. This position ensures smooth coordination between internal teams and prospective clients, helping deliver tailored logistics solutions that meet customer needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify potential manufacturing clients in pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer healthcare sectors.
  • Research industry trends and competitor offerings to support strategic planning.
  • Assist in preparing customized proposals for warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment services.
  • Coordinate with operations and pricing teams to ensure accurate quotes and service details.
  • Schedule and host onsite visits, manage meetings, calls, and follow-ups with prospects and existing clients.
  • Maintain CRM records and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
  • Track pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
  • Provide insights to improve sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Organize documentation for contracts, service agreements, and onboarding.
  • Assist with planning trade shows, networking events, and client visits.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
  • 1โ€“3 years of experience in business development, logistics, or transportation industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Knowledge of 3PL services, including warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
