Job Description

As an active team member and participant in the ETO group, this role will be responsible for all financial and cost accounting aspects within the Houston Factory to ensure all company reporting deadlines are met.

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:

Plant Controlling:

In keeping with vested authority at the organizational level, assume responsibility and be accountable for the financial functions of the Houston Factory.

According to the directives, policies, regulations, accounting ethics and principles, through motivation, delegation of responsibility and appropriate authority to subordinates, accomplish accounting and related objectives compatible with system controls and schedules.

Preparation of all financial statements, reports and audits utilized to provide Management with information related to the financial transactions, operational cost, POC, WIP, sales, orders, taxes, depreciation, property and other asset values, etc.

Analyze month-end and month-to-date financial, job costing and statistical data to understand the drivers for variances (production and overhead) from budget/forecast and develop improvement plans with manufacturing director, plant managers and business controller.

Working directly with the factory manager in the preparation of the operational POC forecasts.

Prepare statements of recommendations relative to future financial plans, objectives, policies and goals.

Preparation of periodic general ledger reconciliations and account analysis accurately and timely.

Evaluate and implement such approved programs deemed adequate to achieve cost reduction, improve controls and work simplification.

Establish and maintain internal controls to support the financial infrastructure.

Be accountable for the selection, promotion, performance and optimum utilization of the Administrative (AR & AP) personnel.

Supply financial and operational data to support other business areas, including Quality Management, Safety, Payroll/HR, Legal, etc, as requested

Qualifications

Qualifications: Requires a college degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration. Certified Public Accountant or a minimum of five (5) years' experience in a senior cost accounting positions is required. SAP Experience preferred.

Business System Development:

Business System support, development and improvement of SAP-ETO, CRM.

Participate as a key team member in all software development, testing of future upgrades and implementation of end user training programs.
