Job description

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer. The Information System Security Engineer obtains and maintains necessary Authority to Operation (ATO) for environments and tools in TAC.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a Poly
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Science, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative science field.
  • Junior - Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires guidance, as appropriate.
  • Mid - Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Able to develop and use more complex concepts and processes, conduct root cause problem analysis and develop technical solutions to problems. Guides and supports junior level personnel. Requires guidance when dealing with new, uncertain, undefined or undeveloped tasks.
  • Senior - Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Able to develop and use more complex concepts and processes, conduct root cause problem analysis and develop technical solutions to problems. Guides and supports junior level personnel.
