You're a Business Intelligence or Market/Financial Analyst who is looking for an opportunity where the work you do has direct and critical impact on company strategy. We're ACME Tire Corp and we're on the search for someone like you. Business Intelligence Analyst ACME Tire Corp is one of the country's leading independent wholesale tire distributors. We're experts in logistics - dealing with a complex global supply chain to bring a wide range of tires to the US market. The new BI Analyst will report to our Director of Business Intelligence. This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to work across all areas of business and work with real world data sources. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is ready to dive in and start gathering and analyzing data. Someone who understands that they have the support of their Director but doesn't need to hold their hand. You're a utility player, you're equally comfortable doing analyses and extracting data yourself.  An individual who is resourceful and can solve problems and find answers on their own. Our internal partners will need your assistance in problem solving and will rely on your market analysis. You love a puzzle and that's why you excel in this job. You're able to assist business and product managers in better understanding the marketplace and in making proactive decisions. This is a full-time position located in our Palo Alto regional office. Salary is $75,000-$90,000 annually and will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities As part of the Business Intelligence Group, responsibilities include the following: * Assist in the design, testing and implementation of market surveys and data models * Create and maintain external data sets and monthly reports * Provide technical support to various department leads and staff * Assist ad-hoc data or reporting requests * Assist in data discovery, mapping and translation Working at ACME Tire ACME Tire Corp offers you the benefits of working in a thriving mid-sized business which continues to grow at a fast pace.
