Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SAM processes and best practices, along with the ability to analyze business needs and translate them into actionable solutions. This role is critical in ensuring that our organization maximizes its software assets while minimizing costs and risks.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to software asset management.
Analyze current SAM processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Utilize ServiceNow SAM tools to manage software licenses, entitlements, and compliance.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into software usage and compliance status.
Work closely with IT and procurement teams to ensure accurate software asset tracking and management.
Provide training and support to end-users on SAM processes and ServiceNow functionalities.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software asset management and ServiceNow.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive consensus among stakeholders on SAM initiatives.

Mandatory Skills:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Software Asset Management.
Strong expertise in ServiceNow SAM, including configuration, implementation, and optimization.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and creating functional specifications.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
