Job Description

Business Analyst 

- On behalf on our client in the Inspection and Certification industry, Procom Services is looking for one Business Analyst. As part of the Business Solutions team, the candidate will determine project objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating and delivering output requirements. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams of Project Management, Product Management, and Development teams to implement IT solutions. This individual will have proven group facilitation, written, and interpersonal skills.


Business Analyst Job Details


Facilitate the implementation of IT solution by analyzing project needs, defining project scope, rationalizing requirements, identifying best solution fit/gap, designing process and IT solutions, and supporting IT solution roll-out. 


Elicit business requirements using a variety of techniques, such as workshops or interviews

Document various artifacts such as Project Initiation Document (PID), Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Requirements Document (FRD), and UAT test cases.

Help Quality Assurance teams to execute test plans

Coordinate User Acceptance Testing

Hand-hold user/branch offices during the transition phase.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst or related role.

Must have experience working within application development projects

A minimum of Bachelor's Degree

Must have strong business analysis skills

Excellent organization, communication, project management (multiple simultaneous projects) and facilitation skills

Proven experience with conference planning and group facilitation

Ability to prepare detailed business requirements for technology support systems to facilitate improved business processes

Experience with large software implementations in heavily used systems.

Experience with a large, functionally diverse, and informed user base that demands high quality applications

25% travel (both domestic and international)

Experienced in problem solving, and able to follow a methodical implementation process.
