The Senior Analyst, Procurement plays a critical role in supporting procurement activities through data-driven analysis, supplier relationship management, and contract evaluation. This position involves identifying cost-saving opportunities, managing sourcing processes, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms. The role requires effective communication across organizational levels to influence decisions and resolve supply issues. The analyst will leverage continuous improvement methodologies and digital tools to enhance procurement processes, contributing to the achievement of business goals while maintaining high standards of integrity and operational excellence.
About the team:
The Senior Analyst, Procurement team focuses on managing GNFR packaging and private brand supplier needs at Sam’s Club. This team collaborates with Merchants and Sourcing to ensure product availability while optimizing total cost of ownership. Responsibilities include item and PO maintenance, reporting, forecast communication, and procurement strategy development aligned with business goals. Emphasizing strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and financial analysis, the team drives operational efficiencies. By leveraging data and cross-functional partnerships, it supports continuous improvement and informed decision-making to meet both operational and customer requirements effectively.
What you'll do:
  • Prepare and analyze data to support procurement negotiations and contract management activities.
  • Monitor supplier performance against key metrics and maintain operational relationships to address inquiries.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders using relevant data and insights.
