Role Overview:
At PNC, we're building the next generation of credit card experiences and data-driven marketing is at the heart of that vision. As a Senior Portfolio & Strategy Manager supporting Credit Card and Lending Campaign Management and Marketing Strategy, you will lead acquisition campaigns and audience selection to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and portfolio growth.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll bring together analytical rigor, marketing strategy, and customer selection to influence key decisions across the credit card business. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to develop innovative marketing approaches, optimize performance, and champion a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Cards and Lending audience selection, optimization and delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, risk frameworks, and marketing priorities across all products. Optimize campaign audience selection by integrating valuation and response modeling to maximize returns.
Lead the execution, audit, review, and approval of campaign selection criteria and ensure high quality final campaign delivery across prescreen and non prescreen channels.
Define and evolve the campaign delivery operating model, including governance, controls, and approval processes for selection criteria and execution.
Provide strategic oversight of campaign execution platforms (e.g., Experian Ascend Marketing), including data availability, data flows, and execution readiness.
Drive continuous improvement of campaign processes and data flows, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control within execution platforms.
Partner closely with marketing operations, external partners, internal strategic analytics team to ensure campaigns are executed efficiently and in line with business and regulatory requirements.
Serve as a point of escalation for campaign delivery issues
Lead campaign delivery reporting and tracking across channels (Branch, Online Banking, Mobile, Call Center) and products (Cards, UIL, HELOC, Mortgage).
Analyze campaign delivery gaps, identify optimization opportunities, and clearly communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Preferred skills and experience:
8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, credit cards, consumer banking, or a related data-driven role, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing analytical teams.
Strong expertise in prescreen and nonprescreen acquisition campaigns, including proactive prescreen and reactive prescreen processes.
Familiarity with campaign execution and analytics tools such as Experian Ascend Marketing, Tableau, SQL, Hadoop, HIVE, and Python (preferred).
Strong proficiency in data tools (SQL, SAS, Python, or similar) and experience working with large, complex datasets.
Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of customer behavior, marketing performance metrics, and portfolio dynamics.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
