Job Responsibilities:

Parts Management

  • Partner with internal departments and personnel to meet parts needs
  • Order, procure, stock and bill parts efficiently
  • Create and receive parts requisitions and purchase orders

Communication and Coordination

  • Assist Service Department as needed with light Service Advising duties such as greeting customers, receiving payments, and opening and closing repair orders.
  • Communicate daily with service manager, technicians, sales, and lease and rental department regarding parts needs
  • Communicate with the Warranty Department to provide all necessary information for claim filing.
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Coordinate warranty and dirty ore maintenance

Warehouse Operations

  • Manage warehousing, shipping, and receiving operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts area and warehouse
  • Conduct physical inventory counts as needed

Technical Proficiency

  • Use Dealership Software and Microsoft Office proficiently
  • Operate a forklift safely

Customer Service

  • Maintain strong written, oral and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
  • Address and resolve parts related issues promptly
  • Assist Service Department Customers as necessary

Requirements

  • Required: Minimum of 3 years experience in parts/warehousing/inventory control within the automotive/truck parts industry.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and find solutions to parts needs for company departments.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain proper parts certifications and training for any needed OEM
  • Valid drivers license. Preferred: Service Department Experience (will train the right candidate)
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
