This is a part time position up to 12 hours a week. Sunday's are required.


ROLE SUMMARY

The Shuttle Bus Ministry Lead oversees the daily operations and maintenance of the San Dimas campus shuttle buses. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of congregants, shepherding a team of volunteer drivers, and maintaining administrative compliance with state and federal transportation regulations.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Transportation & Safety: Operate church shuttle buses on Sundays ( 7am-1pm) and for special events, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and timely experience for all congregants.
  • Volunteer Leadership: Recruit, equip, schedule, and shepherd a team of volunteer drivers; ensure all volunteers possess and maintain the necessary Class C commercial licensing.
  • Compliance Management: Maintain precise records for DOT regulations, DMV requirements, and inspections.
  • Administrative Oversight: Manage online portal submissions, driver drug testing programs, and all paperwork required to keep the ministry in full legal compliance.
  • Fleet Maintenance: Oversee the care and routine maintenance of 2 shuttle buses, ensuring they are clean, fueled, and mechanically sound. Coordinate with the facilities supervisor to approve all repairs.
  • Spiritual Shepherding: Provide spiritual encouragement and care to the shuttle volunteer team.
  • Safety Training: Conduct regular safety training and check-ins with drivers to ensure ONE&ALL's culture of excellence and safety is upheld.
  • Staff Collaboration: Attend monthly 1:1 meetings with supervisor and participate in campus engagement meetings as required.
  • Event Support: Coordinate transportation logistics for major church-wide events including Easter and Christmas.

  • Serve at Easter and Christmas.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Proven experience in fleet management or professional driving.
  • Strong administrative skills with experience in DOT/DMV record-keeping and online portals.
  • Genuine love for the Word of God, hospitality, and servant leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a volunteer team.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Ability to remain organized and detail-oriented regarding safety and drug testing schedules.
  • A genuine love for people and a desire to minister to guests while being led by the Holy Spirit.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

  • Driving & Mobility: Regularly sit for extended periods while driving; frequently climb in and out of shuttle buses.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (e.g., moving equipment or assisting passengers with mobility aids).
  • Environment: Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions and indoors for administrative tasks.
  • Sensory: Frequently communicate with team members and congregants; must be able to discern and exchange information clearly in a moderate to loud environment.
  • Compliance: Ability to handle high-stress situations with a calm, Christ-like attitude, especially during peak Sunday hours or high-traffic events.

Requirements

  • Must be a regular attendee of ONE&ALL Church.
  • Must agree to our Statement of Faith.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (Passenger) and a clean driving record.
