Job description

Come grow with us by joining our team as a technician!  In this critical role, you will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments.  You must have the ability to diagnose, test, and repair vehicles and an understanding of using computerized diagnostics equipment and service manuals.  The position required experience in one or more of the following areas:  Automobile, Medium/Heavy Truck, School Bus, and Transit Bus. We are looking for candidates with work experience in an automotive / Truck / Fleet service. Candidates must have a current Driver’s License. Position reports to the Service Manager.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Recent verifiable experience in light or medium duty automotive service facility
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Requires experience in one or more of the following areas:  Automobile, Medium/Heavy Truck, School Bus, and Transit Bus.
  • Appropriate hand tools. Tool Program available.
  • Valid Driver’s License for vehicle classes working on. CDL is a Plus.
  • Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Must have a great attitude and work ethic, Be on time every day.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Will be required to do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position.
  • Must have good manual dexterity.
  • Must have the ability to maintain a valid driver’s license, which includes successfully completing Medical Exam, Driving Test, and all other license requirements.
