Job description

Bus Driver (Substitute)

Flexible work hours needed? Not a problem. GCS will work with your schedule! Greeneville City Schools will assist bus driver applicants with obtaining a Commercial Driver License (CDL).

The Bus Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of Greeneville City School students. The part time position will work no more than 29.5 hours per week and does not include benefits.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Applicants must have a valid Tennessee Class A or B driving license with School Bus and Passenger endorsements - WE WILL PROVIDE TRAINING to interested applicants. Three (3) years' driving experience preferred. Must be familiar with all local, state and federal laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to school bus operation. Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements as required by the Department of Transportation and the Tennessee State Department of Education.

New GCS Bus Drivers are eligible for a sign on bonus

Full Time & Part Time: $750 - paid in installments of $250 after 90/180/270 days

Substitutes: $300 - paid in installments of $100 after 90/180/270 days
