Focal Mind Psychotherapy is currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team, primarily focused on providing remote therapy services within a detoxification center setting in Burns, Oregon. This is a full-time position where your expertise will play a critical role in supporting individuals and families as they navigate challenges related to mental health and substance use disorders.

The role is performed remotely, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while integrating deeply into our multidisciplinary team focused at our detox facility in Burns. As a remote employee, you will leverage technology to maintain consistent communication with clients and colleagues, ensuring effective therapeutic relationships. Collaboration with onsite medical and clinical staff ensures comprehensive patient care, emphasizing teamwork and interdisciplinary approaches.

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to accurately diagnose mental health disorders and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies, perform risk assessments, and formulate safety plans to support clients during critical moments.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive approach to each client’s treatment, fostering a team-centered care model.
• Assist clients in navigating social services, including housing resources, financial assistance programs, and community support services to promote external stability.
• Maintain a rigorous standard of documentation, ensuring accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mental health challenges in conjunction with substance use issues. As the first point of contact for many clients, you will have the opportunity to build rapport and trust, enabling you to guide them through their recovery journey. Understanding the complexities of detoxification, you will be skilled in addressing co-occurring disorders and developing holistic treatment strategies tailored to diverse needs.

• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Oregon is required.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is essential for this role.
• A minimum of two years of prior clinical experience providing mental health services is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy approaches.

• Experience in case management and crisis intervention is highly beneficial for this position.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and patient tracking will enhance your effectiveness.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster healthy relationships with clients and colleagues are crucial.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $130,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
