Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments via telehealth to identify client needs and concerns.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
  • Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to explore and work through their challenges.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services and emotional support during virtual sessions, ensuring immediate attention to clients in need.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while documenting client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Utilize secure telehealth platforms to deliver specialized mental health services, ensuring a safe and effective interaction for all clients.
  • Engage in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals seeking support for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges. As a licensed mental health counselor at Focal Mind Psychotherapy, you will have the opportunity to work with varied age groups and cultural backgrounds, providing comprehensive treatment and fostering resilience and recovery in your clients.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an active LMHC license in Oregon or eligibility for reciprocity.
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling is required, with a preference for experience in telehealth delivery.
  • Proficiency in trauma-informed care approaches as well as CBT and solution-focused therapy.
  • Strong technological skills and familiarity with teletherapy platforms are essential for effective virtual client interactions.
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills that facilitate trust and connection in a remote setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a community health clinic or similar mental health setting.
  • Background in crisis intervention and management.
  • Prior experience working with a diverse population and understanding of cultural competency in therapy.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering $100,000 to $130,000 per year, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include:
