Job Description Step into a hands-on role where your attention to detail, safety focus, and equipment skills directly support critical field operations. This contract opportunity offers consistent 12-hour shifts and the chance to work with a tight-knit team in a fast-paced industrial environment. About the Role: As a Bulk Plant Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading bulk materials, including cement and related products, to support daily operational demands.

You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, monitor product quality during load-out, and ensure all activities comply with OSHA and site-specific safety standards. Your contribution will help maintain smooth, reliable operations and on-time deliveries. Key Responsibilities: Perform safe loading and unloading of bulk materials, including cement and related products, according to job and customer specifications Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stage, and organize materials in designated areas Set up, monitor, and adjust cement mixing operations to meet required consistency and quality standards Conduct pre-use inspections of equipment and report any defects, malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervision Follow all site safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and OSHA regulations during loading, unloading, and mixing activities Maintain accurate records of loads, material quantities, and product transfers using site logs or digital systems Assist with housekeeping of load-out, storage, and mixing areas to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment Collaborate with supervisors, drivers, and team members to coordinate load schedules and resolve operational issues in real time Key Requirements: Proven experience in industrial loading and unloading operations, preferably in a bulk materials or cement environment Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and safe work practices in an industrial setting Experience with cement mixing or similar bulk product blending processes Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with drivers, supervisors, and co-workers Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including potential nights, weekends, and overtime as required by operational demands Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods Reliable, safety-focused mindset with consistent attention to detail and adherence to procedures Desirable Skills: Prior experience in oilfield services, construction materials, or related heavy industrial environments Familiarity with computerized load-out systems, scales, or batching controls Experience performing basic equipment troubleshooting or minor maintenance Knowledge of hazard communication (HazCom) and handling of bulk powders or chemicals Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (required) Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire (required) OSHA safety training (e.g., OSHA 10 or equivalent) preferred Valid driver's license with a safe driving record preferred If you are a dependable Bulk Plant Operator who thrives in 12-hour shift work and takes pride in safe, efficient operations, we invite you to apply and be part of this high-performing team.
