About the job Forklift Operator -- Bulk Material Handling
Location: Perth Amboy, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time 8:30am - 5pm.
$18/hr. then $20/hr. after a week of analyzing that associate is safe on forklift.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced 3PL/logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have experience handling heavy industrial materials, including large bulk loads, while maintaining strong safety and productivity standards.
Responsibilities

  • Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
  • Safely transport and stage 2,000 lb industrial bulk bags (super sacks).
  • Load and unload trailers, including palletized and floor-loaded freight.
  • Build, wrap, label, and stage pallets for outbound shipments.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and follow OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and assist with general warehouse duties.
  • Keep warehouse areas clean and organized.
  • Prior forklift experience required (certification preferred).
  • Experience handling heavy bulk materials (up to 2,000 lbs using equipment).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to safety and detail.
  • Reliable attendance and team-oriented mindset.
