Job description

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is seeking a Director of Global Operations to help turn our global growth strategy into action.

The Director of Global Operations will oversee ACFE’s international operations in strategically prioritized markets, lead and develop regional Heads of Operations, and serve as the connection point between our regional teams and ACFE headquarters.

We’re looking for someone who has experience leading multi-regional or international operations, managing high-performing teams, and translating strategy into measurable results. Just as important, this person will be an exceptional communicator and relationship builder who can understand different perspectives, create alignment and keep complex initiatives moving forward.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the execution and implementation of ACFE’s global growth strategy across strategically identified international regions.
  • Hire, lead, coach and develop Heads of Regional Operations, establishing clear goals, priorities and key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution of ACFE’s international initiatives and expansion efforts.
  • Build strong communication and working relationships between regional operations and ACFE headquarters teams, including Communications and Marketing, Training and Education, Certification, Legal, Accounting, Business Development and Membership.
  • Develop regional operating plans, budgets and go-to-market strategies aligned with ACFE’s broader global objectives.
  • Help regional and headquarters teams navigate competing priorities, build consensus and maintain momentum on shared initiatives.
  • Support the development of high-impact relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Track, analyze and report global growth KPIs and performance metrics to ACFE leadership.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and challenges within individual markets and adapt regional strategies as ACFE learns and grows.
  • Clearly communicate ACFE’s global vision and value proposition to internal and external audiences, including in markets where the organization is still building its presence.

What We’re Looking For

  1. 5–10 years progressive experience in leading multi-regional or international operations. 
  2. Proven experience managing high-performing teams distributed across different geographic regions. 
  3. Highly skilled in strategic planning and project execution. 
  4. Highly analytical and skilled in KPI development and performance tracking. 
  5. Practical experience in leading new market entry in international territories a plus. 
  6. Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with an executive-level audience. 
  7. Excellent leadership and organizational skills. 
  8. Strong cultural intelligence and international experience.  
  9. Professional working proficiency in multiple languages a plus. 
  10. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. Experience with Salesforce and Asana a plus. 
  11. Travel internationally to support regional activities and build strategic relationships. Up to 60%.
