Job description

Overview:

A building substitute teacher is responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Requirements:

  • Individuals hired will be on site in the building assigned to them
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) preferred or Substitute Teaching License required- registered in Lake County, IL
  • Ability to work with students in grades Pre-K - 8
  • Willingness to be flexible
  • Adapt to new situations easily
  • Strong classroom management skills

Salary:  $249.39/day -  No other benefits
