Job description

I-State Truck Center is looking our next Building Maintenance representative. This position does REQUIRE a CDL license as the main duties will be the pick up and delivery of customer vehicles, as well as other building maintenance tasks at our location in Rogers Minnesota!

Hourly pay up to $28.00 per hour DOE

I-State Truck Center has opened our new 50,000 square facility and are looking for new team members to join. This shop features brand new State of the art features and amenities, 24 full-service bays, covered service check in area and many more.

Job Duties:

  • Picking up and Dropping off customer vehicles (CDL REQUIRED)
  • Check-in and inspection of trucks and equipment arriving, movement of trucks on property as well as periodic test driving as needed.
  • Evaluate condition of the facility interior and exterior and perform minor repairs and maintenance.
  • Communicate with Service and/or Branch Manager about any work that requires outside expert assistance.
  • Keep building in clean and orderly condition by performing minor cleaning duties not performed by our cleaning service as needed.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Keep restrooms clean and supplied.
  • Keep break room clean and supplied.
  • Receive and respond to reports of maintenance issues on premises.
  • Perform snow and ice removal on sidewalks and areas of lots as needed (we have an outside service that plows and salts lots).
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
  • Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to workers
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or transports orders to packing station or shipping department

Desired Qualities/Skills:

  • Working experience in a customer service, customer focused position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working experience as a delivery driver
  • Experience using Excel, Word, Outlook, etc., preferred

Position Requirements

  • Must have valid drivers license (CDL required)
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. consistently
  • Good knowledge of the area, and ability to read maps and follow specific directions
