Teachers Aide - EI/ Preschool
Details about this opportunity:
  • Location: Riverhead, NY
  • Status: Part Time Center-Based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist/Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
  • Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-11:30am (hours may vary)
  • Compensation: $18-$20/hourly
    • Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held

Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with Clinical Supervisors to implement principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions.
  • Acquire and maintain RBT credential in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Use Central Reach platform for data collection and graphing.
  • Implement Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans as directed.
  • Effectively manage learners including physical crisis intervention protocols, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Understand and demonstrate the company core values.

  • Minimum of 6 months ABA working with children or adolescents with Autism in a supervised setting.
  • Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field.
  • Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
