A Building Intern typically needs a foundational understanding of construction principles, basic engineering or architecture coursework, and enrollment in a relevant degree program. Familiarity with industry-standard software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office, as well as compliance with safety regulations, is commonly expected. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication help interns collaborate successfully and adapt to dynamic jobsite environments.
