Hours for this job are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 5 pm and a voluntary shift on Saturday from 7:30 am until noon

Starting wage range is typically $18-23/hr and varies by experience level

 In the Buildings & Grounds Maintenance / Shop Helper role you have the high impact responsibility assuring the timely maintenance and upkeep of the facility.

Essential Functions:

  • RECEIVE DELIVERIES
  • LOAD OUT GOING SHIPPMENTS
  • UNLOAD CUSTOMER UNITS FOR SERVICE AS WELL AS TAG THEM
  • LOAD CUSTOMER UNITS THAT ARE BEING PICKED UP
  • ORGANIZE EQUIPMENT ON SALES LOT
  • TAKE PICTURES OF EQUIPMENT ON LOT WHEN NEEDED
  • GENERAL LOT AND BUILDING CLEAN UP (TRASH, CARDBOARD, DEBRIS ON LOT OR ON THE GRASS AROUND BUILDING)
  • HELP WITH DELIVERIES OF CUSTOMER UNITS BACK TO THERE HOUSE
  • HELP WITH DETAILING AND WASHING EQUIPMENT
  • WAREHOUSE ORGANIZATION
  • TAKING SHOP WARRANTY PARTS TO WAREHOUSE AT START OF EVERY MONTH AND DISGARD ANY PARTS THAT ARE OVER 3 MONTHS OLD (CORE PARTS TO BE RETURNED TO PARTS)
  • ORGANIZING JOHN DEERE PALLETS, BREAKING THEM DOWN AND BANDING TOGETHER FOR SHIPPING BACK TO DEERE
  • BUILDING SAFTEY INSPECTIONS (ONCE A MONTH)
  • GENERAL BUILDING MAINTENANCE (REPLACE LIGHT BULBS, REPAIR GENERAL ITEMS IN SHOP TO BE EMPTIED AND CLEANED)
  • PULL SOLD UNITS FROM THE SALES FLOOR OR FROM LOT AND TAG WITH CUSTOMER NAME
  • PLACING LAWNMOWERS ON SALES FLOOR (WORKING WITH SALES TO GET UNITS THAT ARE NEEDED ON THE FLOOR)
  • HAULING OLD PALLETS IN FOR DISPOSAL WHEN NEEDED
  • HELP PULL PARTS FOR WORK ORDERS
  • ANY DAILY NEEDS THAT COME UP
  1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Must have a valid, insurable drivers license.
  3. Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job.
