Compensation:

$14 - $16 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Work with a variety of tools hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade
  • Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff
  • Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks
  • Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures
  • Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria

Qualifications:
  • Driver’s license and outstanding driving record is necessary
  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
  • The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required
  • Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
  • 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role

Our hotel is off I-55 and Highway 51, in Jackson's business district. A variety of shops and restaurants are within a half-mile, and we’re nine miles from downtown Jackson. The Mississippi Museum of Natural Science and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum are less than 15 minutes away.
