These systems are managed through a Building Management System (BMS) or Building Automation System (BAS), which helps improve energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and operational performance. Building automation is commonly used in commercial buildings, schools, hospitals, and large residential complexes. The technology allows for remote monitoring and control, scheduling, and data collection to optimize building operations.
