Job description

If you've ever felt the thrill of helping a homebuyer make critical decisions, yet frustrated by disorganized processes, conflicting schedules, or unclear builder requirements, we get it. At Wisenbaker, we empower our Design Consultants with the tools, support, and systems to deliver an exceptional customer experience without unnecessary headaches.

If you thrive on guiding homebuyers, turning design choices into reality, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this role is for you. Here, your expertise directly influences homebuyer satisfaction, builder relationships, and overall design center success.

Your Mission:

As a Design Consultant, you'll guide homebuyers through interior selections, helping them personalize their new homes while maximizing budget efficiency. You'll ensure all appointments are executed flawlessly, paperwork is accurate, and both homebuyers and builders are delighted with the design center experience.

What You'll Be Doing (and Absolutely Crushing It):

Consult with homebuyers to understand their vision, preferences, and budget.
Professionally sell Wisenbaker and builder products, including upgrades.
Conduct appointments efficiently and effectively, adhering to builder cycle times.
Review and finalize all required paperwork accurately with homebuyers.
Maintain knowledge of builder-specific and Wisenbaker products.
Track communications, quotes, and questions for each appointment to ensure follow-up.
Keep the showroom organized, clean, and appointment-ready.
Cross-train across multiple builders and product lines.
Communicate regularly with builders regarding pending and finalized buyers.
Follow all builder-specific and Wisenbaker policies, ensuring proper procedures are followed daily.

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or GED required.
Previous Wisenbaker or builder showroom experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and handle product samples up to 25 lbs.
Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with occasional overtime.

About The Company

At Wisenbaker, we don't just support the homebuilding industry, we help build it from the ground up. As one of the largest interior finish solutions providers in the country, we partner with top homebuilders to deliver flooring, countertops, and cabinets that turn houses into homes. But we're more than materials, we're a people-powered operation where hard work is noticed, growth is real, and leadership actually leads. If you're ready to be part of something built to last, welcome to Wisenbaker.
