Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented DevSecOps Platform Engineer to join our team in Tampa, FL. The DevSecOps Engineer (Platform Team) will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge as a platform team developer responsible for developing and managing the CI/CD pipelines of a wide variety of applications. This role functions as a "generalist" on CI/CD pipeline and security requirements with strong knowledge of the platform as a whole to ensure the successful delivery of enterprise software solutions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and/or AWS Cloud Formation Templates.
* Provision and configure cloud service provider (CSP) systems including Google Cloud Provider (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to ensure reliable and scalable solutions.
* Developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications to support the Sponsor's system accreditation efforts.
* Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for a large enterprise consisting of hundreds of applications using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
* Implementing DevSecOps methodologies and managing source version control and build/release tools.
* Supporting the software build process and ensuring all systems meet security-first requirements.
* Maintaining system baselines and configuration management items, including security event monitoring policies for automated pipelines.
* Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements for pipeline efficiency and security. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in software systems development and management.
* Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and/or AWS Cloud Formation Templates.
* Experience provisioning and configuring CSP systems (GCP, Microsoft Azure, AWS).
* Experience deploying and configuring CSP SaaS offerings (API gateways, SaaS databases, etc.).
* Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Python, Bourne Shell, etc.).
* Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab.
* Proficiency in containerization with Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
* Experience securing software through code and container scans. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with MLOps, including building and deploying machine learning models.
* Knowledge of generative AI technologies.
* Experience with SaaS AI tools such as AWS SageMaker.
* Experience with network configuration and management.
* Understanding of Zero Trust security principles.
* Experience with the Sponsor's primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools. Clearance Requirements: * Must have an Secret with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
* Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc..
* Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
* Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
