Job description

Opportunity:

Physician - Cardiology


Job Details:

  • General Cardiology position covering clinic, procedures, and call shifts

  • Clinic hours are 7:30 AM 4:00 PM with night call shifts from 5:00 PM 7:00 AM and 24-hour call shifts from 7:00 AM 7:00 AM

  • Schedule involves daily coverage with 1-2 nights of call per week and 1:4/5 weekend call rotation

  • Full-time coverage needed seeing approximately 17-18 patients per day

  • Adult patient population

  • Clinic has one full-time physician with APP support from Interventional if covering General Cardiology

  • In lab 3 days per week

  • Special procedures include nuclear reads, stress tests, TEEs, cardioversions, and echo monitors

  • CT reads skill preferred

  • EMR system is EPIC

  • Hospital bed size is 150 beds

  • Must be nuclear boarded and echo boarded; CT boarded is a plus but not required

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiology required

  • Active PA license or IMLC required

  • DEA required

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required
