Patrolling and monitoring exterior and community areas on premises.

Access control of entrances and exits and departure of employees and visitors.

Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities

Providing detailed reports on daily activities and/or incidents that may have occurred.

Knowledgeable and able to effectively use magnetometer and X-ray machines.

Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner

Leverages excellent listening and service skills in emergency response and evaluation procedures

Performing CPR or first aid when needed

Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements.

Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Project Manager.

Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age

Be a United States citizen; or a Lawful Permanent Resident who is currently a member of, or who possesses a verifiable honorable discharge from, any component of the United States Armed Forces (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard)

Been issued a Social Security Card by the Social Security Administration, which bears the individuals name and social security number

Have verifiable documentation of one experience and one education level listed below:

A minimum of two (2) years of experience (armed) security experience or one (1) year of law enforcement experience in a full-duty status with a full-service police department in a municipality, state, or federal law enforcement department within the US.

A minimum of two (2) years as a member of any US Armed Forces with an honorable discharge

Received, at minimum, either a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) from an accredited institution of higher learning

Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend English, and be able to compose written reports in English

Strong relevant knowledge of the security industry

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must have a customer service-driven mindset

Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers

Must be trainable and able to display proficiency in firearms (pistol), intermediate weapons (OC spray and expandable baton) and First Aid, CPR, AED

Physical Demands

PSO's shall be physically able to perform tasks in performance of assigned duties

Frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping up to twelve (12) hours per day, either indoors or outdoors

Ability to remain on post up to four (4) consecutive hours without sitting, eating or receiving a break

Ability to remain alert for up to 12hours, with ability to mentally and physically react quickly to a variety of unexpected and dangerous situations
