Job description

Protective Security Officer (PSO) – Armed

Maverick Strategies LLC is seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our team as a Protective Security Officer. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in armed security, military service or law enforcement who are committed to maintaining safety and security.

We currently have openings in:

Rockville, MD - $34.00 per hour plus benefits

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years of armed security experience or 2 years of military service or 2 years law enforcement
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to pass a federal background check

Applicants must provide the following documentation:

✔ Basic training exhibit
✔ Initial weapons exhibit
✔ Refresher exhibit (if basic training is over 3 years old)
✔ MEB certification
✔ OC certification
✔ FA/CPR/AED certification

✔ MD guard card / MD armed card

✔ Orientation certificate

✔ Valid driver’s license
