Job description

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Computer Hardware and Software Support in the End User Asset Management organization within the IT Department at the facility and directly supports the IT Asset Management Specialist. The team is responsible for coordination activities related to the acquisition of all computer hardware, software, and peripherals in the Office Automation asset plan. This assignment requires a candidate to have a strong working knowledge of computer systems and components as well as operating systems and applications software. Responsibilities include the warehousing, tracking, distribution, and recovery of hardware assets and software licenses, as well as administering the Agency's mobile device program.

This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid based in Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR with onsite 4 days per week. The hourly pay rate for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $5.09) is $37.33 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a directly related technical field is preferred.
6 months of experience in Computer/Information Technology or a directly related field preferably providing computer hardware and/or software support is required.
6 months working knowledge of computer systems and components, operating systems, and applications software.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Knowledge of hardware and software lifecycle management.
Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID is required.

Preferred Skills:

One or more of the following Certifications:
Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST)
Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)
Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP)
Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM).
Demonstrated logistics and/or warehouse systems experience.
Familiarity with procurement and/or asset ordering systems.
